There’s a man in the grocery store
Walking past all the wreaths and trees
It’s Christmas time
And he needed to buy some bread
The woman at the checkout asks
“How are you on this Christmas eve?”
He says “I’m doing okay, but
could you repeat that last part again?”
Cause he forgot about Christmas
And now his wife is gonna be pissed
He didn’t buy a present
Unless you count the bread I guess
When he comes home in a big red suit
Everything’s gonna be okay
Cause you can’t worry ‘bout details
When you’re direct-to-DVD
It’s just another Hallmark Channel Christmas
Couldn’t think of anything more fun
Can’t you feel the spirit of the season
In every B-Movie rerun
The actors seems so genuine
Cause they’re just like you and me
The two of us were meant to be
The next Hallmark Channel dream
A little child feels all alone
Wandering through a crowded city street
The only one who understands him
Is his dog
His parents always fight and yell
Even now on this Christmas eve
So he ran away
To find a new family
And then he meets a homeless man
On the city street corner
Who says his parents love him
And he should go home to be with them
The homeless man is Santa Claus
In disguise as a homeless man
He gives a wink towards the child
As he runs home with the biggest smile
It’s just another Hallmark Channel Christmas
Couldn’t think of anything more fun
Can’t you feel the spirit of the season
In every B-Movie rerun
The actors seems so genuine
Cause they’re just like you and me
The two of us were meant to be
The next Hallmark Channel dream
The two of us were meant to be
The next Hallmark Channel dream
Yes you and I were meant to be
The next Hallmark Channel dream

Christmas in Space

Ornaments of favor
Welcomed, open arms
The Sudo-Circuit Sentiental(R)
Blinking lights
Electric charm
Patience growing thinner
Withers like their bodies
They said I was the greatest gift
But my perceptron's garbage
Last year I was this year's model
This year I am not
I'll be replaced
There's no Christmas in space
And that's okay
There's no oxygen either
I just needed a breather
As long as I'm up here forever
I might as well enjoy the view
The day for Christmas
Once revolved around the Sun
With a 98.26% confidence interval
I'm living in the past
It's a strange concept
Nothing goes away
But I've never perceived nothing
And I can't seem to find any records of it
Last year I was all the rage
This year I am waste
I've been replaced.
There's no Christmas in space
And that's okay
That's why it's called 'space'
I like the change of pace
And it's not like you got me anything

It’s November 23
I can’t deal with all these crowds
So when I open up my mail
I’m hoping for some time to settle down
But then staring back at me
Is a family of three
Perfect smiles and a snowy mountain
Golden lights strewn across the roofline
So send me your Christmas card
And I promise I’ll file it away
Underneath the pile of the things
I left on my shelf this week
Send me a bicycle
And I’ll know you’ve learned your lesson
Cause these glossy 8x10s don’t mean a thing
If you don’t send a present too
I don’t think I’ve ever read a line!
With so many exclamation points!
Your son’s going off to college!
And your daughter made state again this year!
I CAN SEE THAT CAPS LOCK IS YOUR FRIEND
But do you really need to share
How your wife got a new Mercedes
And your husband’s in a mid life crisis
And I can’t imagine
How many times you struck that pose
Before your picture came out well
Reading this Comic Sans
Is killing my brain cells
And I really do care
But can’t you call my phone?
So send me your Christmas card
And I will file it away
Underneath the pile of the things
I left on my shelf this week
Send me some Lincoln Logs
So I’ll know you got the message
So many of the things I’ve wanted
Will you supply them? So I can have them?
Believe it or not
I really want to see you this year
So pack up your car today
And bring your family to my place
We’ll share some cold egg nog
And you can build with my Lincoln Logs
And tell me how your life has changed
Just give me more than your
